Legal Basis All Co-operative Credit Unions registered and licensed by the Bank of Ghana are regulated under the Co-operative Credit Union Regulations Act, 2015, established under section 45 of the Non-Bank Financial Institutions Act, 2008 (Act 774) in consultation with the Bank of Ghana under section 4(2) of the Bank of Ghana Act, 2002 (Act 612). These Regulations were made on the 28th day of October, 2015.
